United Nations: IOM Migration

Synopsis:

This animation tells the contemporary refugee story as a family flees their war torn country and how they are aided by the International Organization of Migration (IOM). It was commissioned to raise awareness of IOM’s efforts to help ensure the orderly and humane management of migration, to promote international cooperation on migration issues, to assist in the search for practical solutions to migration problems and to provide humanitarian assistance to migrants in need, including refugees and internally displaced people.

The project is a collaboration between directors Jody McAlavey and Andrew D. Zimbelman and production companies Connected Pictures and The Foreign Correspondents’ Club.
